Makassar, April 17, 2025 – PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) and the Directorate of Vital Object Security of the South Sulawesi Regional Police (Ditpamobvit Polda Sulsel) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the security of the Awak Mas Gold Project's operational area, which has been designated as a Specific Vital Object (Obvit).As part of this collaboration, MDA also handed over operational vehicles to support the police in carrying out their security duties on the ground.The signing ceremony was conducted by the Director of Vital Object Security of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Commissioner Minarto, S.I.K., and MDA’s General Manager of Commercial &amp; Corporate Affairs, Samsurizal Adi Bharata. The event was also attended by senior officials of the South Sulawesi Police, including the Commander of the Mobile Brigade Unit (Brimob) and the Director of Sabhara.This collaboration is a follow-up to the main Memorandum of Understanding agreed upon earlier in 2025. It marks a concrete step in strengthening coordination and security systems in the mining operational area. The handover of operational vehicles also reflects a synergistic commitment between the private sector and the police in fostering a safe and sustainable investment climate.Commissioner Minarto expressed his appreciation for MDA’s support of police operations. “We welcome this synergy with MDA. The signing of this MoU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership, and the vehicle grant will greatly enhance mobility and the effectiveness of security operations in the mining area,” he said.MDA considers security stability a crucial element for the sustainability of large-scale, high-risk mining operations. “We believe the success of the Awak Mas Project depends not only on technical aspects but also on strong coordination with security forces. MDA and South Sulawesi Regional Police Sign Grant Agreement and Handover Operational Vehicles

PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) and the Luwu Regency Government have signed a lease agreement for a regional asset in the form of a road, which will be used as a Mining Road to support MDA's mining operations. This agreement is part of the company's strategic steps to ensure infrastructure readiness toward First Gold 2026.The signing ceremony was attended by the Regent of Luwu, H. Patahuddin, S.Ag., along with officials from the Luwu Regency Government, while MDA was represented by President Director Trisakti Simorangkir and his team.In his speech, Regent Patahuddin stated, "This kind of agreement should not take too long because the benefits will soon be felt by the people of Luwu Regency," he explained. He also expressed his hope that the collaboration between the Luwu Regency Government and MDA would contribute to the broader welfare of the region.This asset lease serves as a mutually beneficial solution, allowing the local government to retain ownership of its strategic asset while enabling MDA to optimize the road for efficient construction and production operations.
