PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) has once again carried out its Community Health Check-up and Medical Treatment Program (PPKM) for residents in 12 villages in Latimojong District, Luwu Regency.The program is part of MDA’s efforts to ensure that communities in remote areas continue to have access to basic healthcare services. Since 2022, the initiative has been implemented consistently, with an increasingly wider reach each year.The latest implementation took place throughout April 2026, with a total of 631 residents receiving healthcare services. Most of the beneficiaries were elderly people. Based on the medical examinations, hypertension was identified as one of the most common health conditions, highlighting the importance of routine check-ups and early treatment.One resident of Tolajuk, Nisma, expressed her appreciation for the program.<blockquote>“I have participated in this free medical treatment program several times. This activity has been very helpful for us,” she said.</blockquote>MDA’s Head of Mining Engineering, Mustafa Ibrahim, stated that the program focuses on early detection efforts so that community health conditions can be addressed more quickly.<blockquote>“Through this free healthcare service, we want to encourage people to be more concerned about their health conditions. Early detection is key to ensuring that potential illnesses can be treated earlier, especially among the elderly,” he said.</blockquote>He added that the implementation of the program is also aligned with various inputs gathered through the Village Forum (FORDES) together with the Working Group (Pokja) for Investment Acceleration of Luwu Regency, including the need to improve access to basic services in remote areas.By bringing healthcare services directly to villages, residents no longer face distance barriers or limited facilities in obtaining medical check-ups and treatment.This program is part of MDA’s commitment to supporting the improvement of the quality of life for communities surrounding its operational areas. PT Masmindo Dwi Area Provides Free Healthcare Services, Reaching 12 Villages in Latimojong

Coinciding with National Education Day (Hardiknas), PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) symbolically handed over educational assistance consisting of 450 school bags, 350 sets of desks and chairs, and sports equipment to eight elementary schools and two junior high schools within MDA’s operational area.The assistance was symbolically presented to the Regent of Luwu and the Head of the Luwu District Education Office during the 2026 Hardiknas commemoration ceremony held at Andi Djemma Field in Belopa on Monday (May 4, 2026). This momentum reflects the synergy between MDA, the local government, and stakeholders in strengthening the education sector in areas surrounding the company’s operations.This initiative is also part of the implementation of the PELITA Luwu program (Educational and Exploratory Learning for Luwu Children), conducted in six elementary schools within MDA’s operational area: SDN 41 Boneposi, SDN 43 Ranteballa, SDN 230 Ulusalu, SDN 476 Makalua, SDN 643 Gamaru, and SDN 662 Salobulo. The program is carried out through collaboration between MDA, Indika Foundation, and the Luwu District Education Office as part of a joint effort to enhance the quality of learning at the elementary school level.The PELITA Luwu program introduces learning activities designed through a play-based approach. In its implementation, students participate in a series of group activities, rotating from one station to another, ensuring that each child remains actively engaged throughout the sessions.Through this approach, students are encouraged to interact, collaborate, and build the confidence to try new things. The learning process extends beyond the classroom, incorporating hands-on experiences that make lessons easier to understand and remember.MDA’s Head of Mining Engineering (KTT), Mustafa Ibrahim, stated that support for education is part of the company’s commitment to communities around its operational areas.“The momentum of Hardiknas reminds us that development always begins with people. On National Education Day Momentum, MDA Provides Educational Assistance and Implements the PELITA Program in Luwu

The Awak Mas Gold Project covers an area of 14,390 hectares, located in the Luwu Regency, of South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Management is currently reviewing and optimizing the Project development strategy, and when it is final the Company plans to enter into construction.

The mining license is situated in land classified as Area Penggunaan Lain (APL) (land for other uses), a non-protected forest area. The Project has received regulatory approvals for both the AMDAL, Feasibility Study allowing the Company to enter into construction and operations.
