In celebration of Eid al-Adha 1446 H, PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) distributed 21 sacrificial cows to villages surrounding its operational area in Latimojong District, Luwu Regency.

This sacrificial animal distribution is part of MDA’s commitment to sustainable community empowerment programs. The procurement process was carried out in collaboration with local cooperatives that serve as MDA's empowerment partners at the village level. All sacrificial animals were sourced from local farmers in Latimojong and nearby areas, as an effort to promote the spirit of giving while strengthening the local village economy.

The distribution was coordinated with village governments, who also helped determine the distribution points through local mosques. This approach ensures that the aid is delivered fairly and appropriately.

“Eid al-Adha is a moment of togetherness and compassion. We want to ensure that MDA’s presence brings tangible benefits—not only by distributing sacrificial animals but also by involving the community directly in the process,” said Mustafa Ibrahim, MDA’s Head of Mining Engineering.

Through this initiative, MDA hopes to spread blessings to the recipients while also encouraging the growth of local economic independence in the areas surrounding the company’s operations.
