PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) was welcomed as part of the Kedatuan Luwu Family during the traditional Mangngolo Ri Arajang ceremony held at Langkanae, Istana Kedatuan Luwu, in Palopo City.

MDA President Director Trisakti Simorangkir attended the ceremony together with Director of Human Capital and Corporate Service Muhammad Suhada and members of MDA’s management team. The occasion marked a significant moment, as it was the first time the formal reception of MDA was held at Langkanae, Istana Kedatuan Luwu.

The MDA delegation was received directly by YM Datu Luwu, H. Andi Maradang Mackulau, S.H., Opu To Bau. Also in attendance were YM Cenning Luwu, Hj. Andi Sitti Husaima Opu Daeng Ripajung, and the Dewan Adat 12 Kedatuan Luwu.

Mangngolo Ri Arajang carries a message about the importance of beginning every major undertaking in Tana Luwu with good intentions and respect. Symbolically, the ceremony also represents a request for blessings from all living beings, both seen and unseen, so that the undertaking may proceed safely and smoothly. The ceremony also serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining harmony between the activities being carried out and the cultural values and local wisdom that are deeply rooted in Luwu society.

As part of the ceremony, YM Datu Luwu presented a Pin Kedatuan and a keris to MDA President Director Trisakti Simorangkir. The presentation of the keris represented a special form of recognition and honor from Kedatuan Luwu to MDA’s President Director. Meanwhile, Director of Human Capital and Corporate Service Muhammad Suhada received a Pin Kedatuan presented by a representative of Dewan Adat Kedatuan Luwu.

Through Maddika Ponrang, YM Datu Luwu conveyed that MDA has become part of the Kedatuan Luwu Family. Kedatuan Luwu also expressed its support for MDA’s operations, with the hope that the company’s presence will continue to bring positive contributions and benefits to the people of Luwu.

YM Datu Luwu also expressed his intention to personally attend the Awak Mas Project site during the First Gold milestone. For MDA, this message carries special significance and serves as encouragement to continue upholding the trust that has been placed in the company as the Awak Mas Project progresses toward its operational phase.

MDA President Director Trisakti Simorangkir expressed his appreciation for the welcome and trust extended by Kedatuan Luwu. He said the message conveyed through Mangngolo Ri Arajang serves as a reminder for MDA to continue respecting cultural values and local wisdom in conducting its business activities.
