Celebrating the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence, MDA Supports Healthcare Services and Honors Veterans

The 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia was commemorated by PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) by sharing its commitment and care for the people of Luwu Regency. MDA provided healthcare facility support to Batara Guru Regional General Hospital (RSUD Batara Guru) and also distributed 200 packages containing sarongs and prayer mats to veterans as a form of respect and appreciation for their services and sacrifices.

The support for RSUD Batara Guru was provided in the form of one treadmill, which was handed over by MDA Director Erlangga Gaffar to the Director of RSUD Batara Guru, Dr. Daud Mustakim. The handover was also witnessed by Luwu Regent H. Patahudding and Luwu Vice Regent Muhammad Dhevy Bijak Pawindu as part of the 81st Independence Day commemoration in Luwu Regency.

Director of RSUD Batara Guru, Dr. Daud Mustakim, expressed his appreciation for the support provided by MDA. The treadmill is expected to complement the hospital’s facilities, particularly in supporting rehabilitation services, physical exercises for patients, and physical fitness assessments.

“We appreciate the support provided by MDA to RSUD Batara Guru. This facility will certainly contribute to supporting the hospital’s services. We hope that this kind of synergy can continue to strengthen our efforts to provide better healthcare services to the community,” said Dr. Daud Mustakim.

MDA Director Erlangga Gaffar said that the Independence Day commemoration serves as a reminder that development requires the care and contribution of various stakeholders. For MDA, supporting RSUD Batara Guru is part of its commitment to continue growing while creating positive benefits for the community.

“For us, the spirit of independence is not merely about commemorating the nation’s journey, but also about filling it with meaningful contributions. The support for RSUD Batara Guru may be simple, but we hope it can provide tangible benefits for healthcare services for the people of Luwu,” said Erlangga.

On the same occasion, MDA also distributed 200 packages of sarongs and prayer mats to veterans. The support represents MDA’s respect and appreciation for the veterans who played a significant role in Indonesia’s journey toward independence.

According to Erlangga, showing appreciation for veterans is also a reminder that the independence enjoyed today cannot be separated from the struggles and sacrifices of previous generations. Therefore, the spirit of honoring the contributions of the nation’s heroes must continue to be upheld and passed on to future generations.

Through the 81st Independence Day commemoration, MDA hopes that the spirit of independence will continue to live on through care, togetherness, and collaboration among the business sector, local government, and communities in supporting development and improving the quality of life for the people of Luwu Regency.
