**Clean Water Facility Revitalization Socialization in Rante Balla Village: The First Step of Collaboration Between MDA and Kodim 1403/Palopo**

PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA), in collaboration with Kodim 1403/Palopo and the community of Rante Balla Village, Latimojong District, Luwu Regency, has initiated a joint program for the revitalization of clean water facilities. This program is part of the Indonesian Army’s flagship initiative, “TNI AD Manunggal Air”, which implements the directive of the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) to support government efforts in reducing stunting by providing access to clean water in rural areas.

The revitalization program is designed to directly benefit over 100 households in Rante Balla Village. Through the construction of a piped water system, the initiative aims to ensure equal and sustainable distribution of clean water to all homes.

As a first step, Kodim 1403/Palopo held a socialization event at the Bastem Koramil office in Rante Balla Village. The event aimed to present the work plan for the revitalization program and gather input from the community to support smooth implementation on the ground.

The event was attended by Acting Commander of Koramil Bastem, village officials, community leaders, local residents, and representatives from MDA. In his remarks, Acting Danramil Bastem, Peltu Amaludin, stated, “The Manunggal Air program is part of our efforts to serve the people. We hope that with strong synergy between MDA and the community, the program will run smoothly and bring tangible improvements to the health and lives of the residents.”

The community responded positively to the collaboration. Panggola, a local resident, expressed his appreciation: “We, the people of Rante Balla, thank Kodim 1403/Palopo and MDA for this partnership.” He also emphasized the community’s readiness to support and oversee the program’s success.

MDA’s Head of Mining Engineering, Mustafa Ibrahim, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the program. “Access to clean water is a basic human need. We are proud to be actively involved with the Indonesian Army in making this a reality. We believe this program will have a lasting positive impact on the lives of the local community,” said Mustafa.

Through this socialization activity, a strong synergy is expected to be established among the community, the Indonesian Army, and the company in realizing adequate and sustainable access to clean water in Rante Balla Village.
