PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) has been awarded the Certificate of Appreciation as a Top Taxpayer Contributor of 2023 by the Palopo Tax Office (KPP Pratama Palopo). The award was presented during the Tax Gathering event held at the Sawerigading Hall of the Palopo Tax Office on July 18, 2024. In 2023, MDA also received recognition for its tax payments at the Palopo Tax Office as a form of active participation in securing state revenues.

The Tax Gathering event was attended by 18 selected taxpayers, including 5 individual taxpayers, 4 central taxpayers, and 9 branch taxpayers. The Certificate of Appreciation was handed over by the Head of the Palopo Tax Office, Agung Pronoto Eko Putro, and the Head of the South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Southeast Sulawesi Regional Tax Office (Kanwil DJP Sulselbartra), Heri Kuswanto, to MDA's GM of Commercial & Corporate Affairs, Samsurizal Adi Bharata.

Carrying the theme "Synergy Together to Build the Nation," the event aimed to show appreciation to all taxpayers who contributed to the realization of state revenue in 2023 and fostered strong collaboration between the tax authority and taxpayers.

In his remarks, Agung Pronoto stated that the Palopo Tax Office had achieved 103% of its target revenue in 2023. The attendees of this Tax Gathering were the main contributors to tax revenue at KPP Pratama Palopo. "These taxpayers have made significant tax contributions and are being recognized as a form of appreciation. It is hoped that this recognition will motivate other taxpayers," he said.

Samsurizal Adi Bharata expressed that, despite MDA not yet being in the production stage, the award reflects the company's active and positive contribution to state revenue, benefiting the economy and development in Luwu Regency. “This award not only acknowledges MDA's tax payments but also its compliance with tax reporting in accordance with applicable tax laws. Additionally, with MDA's increasing activities in the future, we hope to see an even greater contribution to state revenue from year to year," Samsurizal said. ***
