The management of PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) made a courtesy visit with the South Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General Drs. Yudhiawan Wibisono, M.Si., and his team to provide an update on the Awak Mas gold mining project. The plant has now been constructed in Ranteballa Village, Latimojong District, Luwu Regency.

MDA President Director Trisakti Simorangkir outlined the ongoing construction stages and reaffirmed MDA's commitment to responsible mining operations that benefit the surrounding community.

During the occasion, Inspector General Yudhiawan stated that the police would continue to monitor the situation professionally and maintain neutrality, which is in line with their primary duty to create a conducive environment for the community. The police are committed to supporting a healthy investment climate by prioritizing security and social stability, enabling all parties, including the community and the company, to benefit from this development.

Through coordination and open communication with various stakeholders, including the police, MDA is optimistic that the Awak Mas project can proceed as planned and make a real contribution to social and economic development in South Sulawesi, especially in Luwu Regency, in support of the Indonesia Emas (Golden Indonesia) goals.***
