PT Masmindo Dwi Area and the 1403/Palopo Military District Command Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony for Clean Water Facility Revitalization Program in Rante Balla Village

PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA), together with Military District Command (Kodim) 1403/Palopo and the residents of Rante Balla Village, Latimojong District, Luwu Regency, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the clean water facility revitalization program as a follow-up to prior socialization activities. This program is part of the Indonesian Army’s flagship initiative, “TNI AD Manunggal Air,” which supports efforts to provide proper access to clean water in rural areas.

The groundbreaking event was attended by the Commander of Kodim 1403/Palopo, Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Windra Sukma Prihantoro, representatives of MDA management, the head of Latimojong subdistrict, and the Acting Head of Rante Balla Village. The presence of these parties marked the start of a piping system project that will directly benefit more than 100 households in Rante Balla Village.

In his remarks, Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Windra Sukma Prihantoro expressed his appreciation to MDA for its full support of the program. “Through the Manunggal Air program, the Indonesian Army remains committed to helping the people, including in providing clean water facilities, which are a basic necessity. We hope this kind of synergy can continue to grow,” he said.

MDA’s Head of Mining Engineering, Mustafa Ibrahim, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to fully supporting the implementation of this program. “Access to clean water is one of the foundations of a healthy and productive life. MDA is proud to collaborate with the Indonesian Army and the people of Rante Balla, and we believe this development will bring sustainable positive impacts on residents’ health, productivity, and quality of life,” he said.

Latimojong Subdistrict Head, Nuragam, also conveyed his gratitude and hopes for the project. “We hope this development runs smoothly and can be replicated in other villages in Latimojong, so that the benefits can be felt evenly and sustainably,” he said.

The construction of this piping system is targeted for completion as soon as possible, so that the clean water distribution can be enjoyed by the residents of Rante Balla Village. MDA and Kodim 1403/Palopo also invite all residents to actively participate and help ensure the smooth completion of the project.
