Luwu, May 6, 2025 – PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) has received an award from the Luwu Regency Government for its tax compliance, recognizing the company as one of the largest regional tax contributors in 2024. The award was presented directly by the Regent of Luwu, H. Pattahuding, during the event themed "Smooth Tax, A Sign of Our Love for Luwu Regency."

This award serves as the local government’s appreciation for companies that have fulfilled their tax obligations in an orderly and timely manner, thereby strengthening the region's original revenue (PAD), which plays a vital role in the development of Luwu Regency.

In his remarks, Regent H. Pattahuding stated that the award is a recognition of all taxpayers who have actively contributed to the region. "We deeply appreciate the compliance of all award recipients who have demonstrated their responsibility by paying taxes in a timely manner. This significantly supports regional development and the improvement of public services," said Pattahuding.

MDA’s General Manager Commercial, Samsurizal Adi Bharata, expressed his appreciation for the recognition. “We have always viewed taxes as part of the company's responsibility to contribute to regional progress. This award certainly motivates us to continue providing our best contributions,” said Rizal.

He further added that MDA hopes mining operations can commence soon so that the company's contributions to Luwu Regency can become even more impactful in the future.
