PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) has signed a cooperation agreement with PT Sulsel Citra Indonesia (Perseroda Sulsel) as part of its efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships in South Sulawesi. Through this collaboration, MDA aims to encourage the active involvement of Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in the mining industry supply chain while enhancing local economic capacity in a sustainable manner.

MDA President Director, Trisakti Simorangkir, expressed a warm welcome to the collaboration with Perseroda Sulsel and emphasized that from the outset, MDA has intended to build this partnership jointly with the Luwu Regency Perseroda, which is currently in the process of being established.

Meanwhile, in the same occasion, President Director of Perseroda Sulsel, Asradi, S.E., M.H., stated that the company will manage this cooperation professionally and transparently. “We see a great opportunity to build a mutually strengthening collaboration while also contributing tangibly to regional development,” he said.

As part of its efforts to build inclusive partnerships that reach various local stakeholders, MDA has also previously established cooperation with cooperatives comprised of communities around the mining area. These steps are part of the company’s roadmap to broaden stakeholder engagement so that investment benefits can directly contribute to regional progress.
