LATIMOJONG—Economic empowerment of residents is one of the social development commitments of PT Masmindo Dwi Area (Masmindo). In order to develop the local economy, Masmindo developed a freshwater fish farming program with two fisheries and agriculture groups in Ulusalu Village, Latimojong District.

The implementation of the laughter water cultivation program was marked by the release of 3 thousand fish seeds together with the Head of the Luwu Fisheries Service, Ir H Baharuddin, the Head of the Luwu Agriculture Service, Albaruddin A Picunang SP. M.Si Head of the Luwu Regency Village and Community Empowerment Service, Drs H Bustan, M.Si, Latimojong Camat, Kapolsek and Danramil Bastem while still following strict health protocols.
