PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) welcomed an honorary visit from the Commander of the South Sulawesi Regional Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob), Police Commissioner Heru Novrianto, at the MDA office located in Belopa, Luwu Regency.

The visit aimed to strengthen coordination between MDA and the Brimob Unit, as one of the key security elements for vital national objects (Obvit). Additionally, the meeting served as a platform for strategic discussions to ensure that the investment climate in Luwu remains stable and secure amidst the region’s development dynamics.

During the meeting, Commissioner Heru Novrianto reaffirmed Brimob South Sulawesi’s readiness to support the security of strategic projects like MDA.

"Security for vital national objects is part of the National Police's commitment to creating the stability needed for long-term investments. We are ready to provide support and collaborate to ensure that MDA's operations can run smoothly and safely," he stated.

As a company currently in the development phase toward production operations, MDA recognizes the importance of professional and responsive security support. The discussion covered preventive measures, enhanced coordination, and the implementation of security standards based on Obvit status. The visit also served as part of Brimob's readiness evaluation to safeguard critical projects in South Sulawesi, including mining sector initiatives with significant impact on the region's economic growth.

MDA’s Chief Mining Engineer, Mustafa Ibrahim, expressed his appreciation for Brimob South Sulawesi’s attention and active involvement in creating a sense of security and building public trust in the Awak Mas Project.
